    Protein Summary

    Gene PP4556 from Pseudomonas putida kt2440 encodes the NP_746665 protein that belongs to the Ca-calmodulin dependent kinase II association domain group (PF08332). FIGfam annotates PP4556 as a ketosteroid isomerase homologue (NP_746665 shows 44% seq. id. with YP_001170697).

    Pre-SCOP classifies 3f7s in the NTF2-like superfamily. 3f7s structure is similar to another jcsg structure 3cnx (rmsd 1.56 for 119 aligned Ca atoms). The 3f7s crystal contains a monomer in the asu, the dimer is formed through crystallographic 2-fold axis. This structure does not contain the E109/H150/C59 putative triad. An unknown ligand (UNL) is located at a similar position as in 3cnx. There are some shifts between the 3f7s and the 3cnx dimers.
