    The Npun_F0524 gene encodes the amino acid sequence YP_001864238.1 (obsolete entry ZP_00111901.1) which is a hypothetical protein with a weak hit (e-value=5.8e-5) with the SMP-30/Gluconolactonase/LRE-like region (SGL) family PFAM:PF08450. STRING analysis of its genome context finds with a 0.849 score the NADPH-dependent carboxyl reductase NP_484396 (GI:17227848). 

    SCOP classifies 2p4o in the all-beta class, calcium-dependent phosphotriesterase superfamily, All0351-like family. Structural similarity analysis provides the lactonase Drp35 PDB:2DG0(apo) PDB:2DG1 (Ca-bound) as the strongest hit (FFAS score=-48; HHpred P-val=1e-37; SSM 84%; Dali Z-scr=31.0; FATCAT P-val=2.5e-13, 34% identity).
