    Pfam family PFAM:PF09391 {Protein of unknown function (DUF2000)} with 84 members in NR database and additional 29 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Bacteria. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2gax) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1q7sa_ classified as Peptidyl-trna hydrolase II fold. Profile-profile methods confirm remote homology between this family and superfamily of Peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase II; fold of the same name. Based on remote homology confirmed by the structure one can hypothesize that this family is possibly peptidyl-trna hydrolase II
