    Pfam family PFAM:PF08786 {Domain of unknown function (DUF1795) } with 100 members in NR database and additional 3 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Bacteria. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:1tu1) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1v2ba_ classified as Mog1p/psbp-like fold. Profile-profile methods confirm remote homology between this family and superfamily of Mog1p/PsbP-like; fold of the same name. Based on remote homology confirmed by the structure one can hypothesize that this family is related to a subunit of oxygen evolving system
