The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2csg) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1dcsa_ classified as Double-stranded beta-helix fold. Profile-profile methods confirm remote homology between this family and superfamily of Clavaminate synthase-like; Double-stranded beta-helix. Based on remote homology confirmed by the structure, ligands one can hypothesize that this family is putative oxidoreductase; Succinic acid coordinating with FE in the active site
