    Pfam family PFAM:PF01954 {Protein of unknown function DUF104 } with 45 members in NR database and additional 9 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Archaea and Bacteria and characterized by short length proteins (60 residues).

    The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2nwt) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1w0ja2 classified as Domain of alpha and beta subunits of F1 ATP synthase-like fold. However, no sequence similarity to this fold has been detected. SCOP classifies 2nwt inside the double-split beta-barrel fold, AF2212-like (super)family. Neither DALI nor Blast searches provide significant hits.
